The distribution of 500g of hybrid chilli seeds (MICH 1) of 50g each to the 10 beneficiaries of the Chilli Cultivation Pilot Project implemented in the Galnewa Divisional Secretariat Division of the Anuradhapura District by the Sri Lanka Hadabima Authority under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands and Irrigation was carried out in the field (Bulnewa Grama Naladhari Division) on 12 September 2025.

Officers of the Bulnewa Agricultural Service Center, officers of the Mahaweli Authority, and the Galnewa Pradeshiya Sabha Member participated in this event.
