On the first day of the New Year 2026, the Sri Lanka Land Authority commenced official duties at the main office premises with the leadership of Chairman R.D. Siripala, giving precedence to religious rituals by pouring milk, hoisting the national flag, and taking the state pledge. The occasion was attended by senior management officials, including the late A.K. Perusinghe (Executive  Director), and the employees of the Authority.
