In line with the “Clean Sri Lanka” concept, the objectives are to raise awareness among the school community about issues such as protecting the natural environment, environmental conservation, mitigating climate change, protecting the environment, controlling global warming, etc., and to promote environmentally friendly programs.

Under the School Environmental Programs implemented by the Sri Lanka Hadabima Authority, it is targeted to implement 41 school-based environmental programs in the year 2026 and it is expected to spend Rs. 50,000.00 per school. Accordingly, an amount of Rs. 2,050,000.00 has been estimated.
