Alongside the ”Clean Sri Lanka” National Program, a tree planting program was conducted on September 13, 2025,
by the Sri Lanka Land Development Authority under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands, and Irrigation,
n the Halpita village area of the Kaspav Regional Secretariat. The program was attended by the Chairman of the
Kaspav Coordination Committee, Mr. Lakshman Nipunarachchi, the Mayor of Kaspav, the Assistant Divisional Secretary,
government officials responsible for the Halpita area, and a group of villagers.

The program was organized by the
area official Mr. Lakshan Adhikari and the unit manager Ms. Nirmaka Wijetunga.
