The commercial ginger production project operating in the Wawulambe Grama Niladhari Division of the Dambulla Regional Secretariat in Matale District, as part of the 2025 development program of the Sri Lanka Land Development Authority, is currently showing successful results. Applications such as box bar insect-proof nets, Amano sheets, barrels, and organic fertilizer were provided to the beneficiaries, and all beneficiaries have started using them. Additionally, GAP certification has been obtained, and ginger sales to top supermarkets have begun.

The 2025 program to promote entrepreneurs was implemented by the Sri Lanka Land Development Authority, and this project serves as excellent proof of its successful execution.
