Under the 2026 Development Program of the Sri Lanka Land Authority, a theoretical and practical training program on soil conservation was conducted in the Higuranketha Divisional Secretariat Division of Nuwara Eliya District, in the grama niladhari divisions of Adiribadda, Abewela, and Idamalanda.

A technical training program on water resource conservation and environmental sustainability was held on 09, 10, and 15 June 2025/06. For this, our Authority’s Assistant Director (Agriculture), the Grama Niladhari responsible Economic Development Officer, Agricultural Research Officer, Grama Niladhari, and the community participated.
