As part of the 2026 Development Program of the Sri Lanka Heart Foundation, the field day program in the Udunuwara Divisional Secretariat Division was successfully held on 2026/07/13, covering the Talawatta, Boyagama, Gangoda South, and Mampitiya Grama Niladhari divisions.

For this program, the following participated:
👉 Hon. Dr. Hansaka Wijemuni, Member of Parliament for Kandy District and Deputy Minister of Health; the Chairman of Udunuwara Pradeshiya Sabha; Mr. A.D. Siripal from the Sri Lanka Heart Foundation (Chairman); Mr. A.K. Perusinghe (Executive Director); Mr. Upul Jayatilak (Assistant Director); Mr. Sunil Wickram (Assistant Director); Agricultural Development Officer Mr. Nimal Tilakaratne; Regional Officer Mr. Jan Bogodghe; Unit Manager Nadeesha Madumali; Mr. Darshana Dayananda; all Grama Niladhari officers in charge of the divisions; and members of the People’s Power Committees.

During the program, monitoring of soil conservation lands and distribution of cheques to beneficiaries took place, along with the distribution of planting materials and agricultural equipment kits under the school-based environmental program.
