The fruit village project carried out under the 2026 development program of the Sri Lanka Land Authority is being implemented in the Ambanpola and Bakmi Wewa Grama Niladhari divisions, and a field inspection regarding the proposed solar water supply systems for the ten beneficiaries in these divisions, as well as the fruit seedlings supplied for the year 2025, was conducted on 2026-08-04 with the participation of the Agriculture Section of the Divisional Secretariat office and under the leadership of Mr. Upul Jayatilaka, Assistant Director (Agriculture) of the Sri Lanka Land Authority.
